System Quality Engineer
Looking for an intelligent Software Quality Engineer who can use their analytical and logic skills as part of the development team to perform verification testing for cutting edge cancer therapy medical devices. You will be supporting development and maintenance activities for Varian Delivery Systems Imaging products for the Clinac Linear accelerators.
Responsibilities include developing, modifying, and executing software test plans to ensure that the device meets product and system requirements, analyzing and writing test designs and procedures, establishing traceability to requirements and risk mitigations, ad-hoc and formal verification testing to ensure the product functions as intended.
The job functions include consulting with development engineers, product marketing, and project management to resolve usability, requirements, software, scope, schedule, and resource issues.
Our main function in SQE is to ensure that the device verification and validation is complete, the product is safe and of high quality, and meets all regulatory requirements. As such, we want someone who will advocate for a quality product, and willing to speak up for the needs of the product.
Job Requirements Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Attention to detail, ability to identify and track multiple problems and issues, strong analytical and logical abilities, good communications skills (Spoken and written English). Experience with radiation oncology and imaging desired.
Typical Education and
Experience:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 3 years of related experience or Masters Degree.
